Badenburg - Nymphenburger Park

In the southern half of the Nymphenburg Park, Elector Max Emanuel of his court architect Josef Effner 1718 - 21 is a two-story spa building castles. He was probably inspired by the Thermenbauten the Turks, whose culture he met during the Turkish wars. The heated swimming pool of the castle was the first "pool" in Europe at that time.
