Max-Joseph-Platz

The Max-Joseph-Platz was built in the days when Bavaria became a kingdom (1806). It is named after the first King of Bavaria, Max Joseph, who is honored in the middle of the square with a noble monument. Originally, the ruler would have liked to have had an equestrian statue.
