Paulaner am Nockherberg
After more than 400 years of history, the brewery and its inn on the town hill can be regarded as an institution. It can be felt comfortably in the shade of the chestnut trees when the sky above the buildings of the Paulaner brewery is blue and the rest of the beer garden looks like a postcard for Japanese tourists.
In blue and white chalk stands the bread-time offer on the tables above the food and beverage issue, self-picking is understood. The Mass Paulans are available for 8.10 Euros, the Niederbayerische Hendl for 8.90 Euros. The costume of the operations in the neighboring Salettl is lupenrein and a stone fountain with the bust of Alois, the Paulaner-Markenmönch, splashes to itself. Above all, more experienced excursionists and tourists are attracted to the beer garden.
Others may feel more constrained by the surrounding building complex. Cool and uncomfortable, many find the new building of the Paulaner complex, which was opened after a fire in the old Salvatorkeller in 2003. This can not be so wrong. In April, the brewery announced its intention to close the large restaurant next year. The complete ensemble including beer garden at the Nockherberg is to be renewed until the Salvatoranstich 2018. So if you want to visit the old Alois again, you should do it soon. The food is ok, the service okay. For children there is a great adventure playground.

Dinner and Drinks at Paulaner
This restaurant is top class. I visited this with some friends and we had no problem finding a table. The ambiance is family friendly with the flow of busy waiters and waitresses. For us English speakers a clear and precise menu was given to each of us. While waiting for the Obazda, Leberkäse and Schnitzel dishes we admired the bar and the gleaming copper beer piping and tanks where are beer flowed freely from. Submit review See all 1 reviews
