If you are driving through the English Garden, you do not have to worry about the best excursion destination. In the end, all paths lead to the Aumeister. At least those northwards, which lead along the Isar to the Hirschau. On 3300 seats, you can relax here under chestnut trees and enjoy the peace and quiet that the monumental Walmdachhaus sprays. Formerly the participants were the court hunts, who felt comfortable in the spacious garden of the resident hunter. Today, cyclists and Munich strollers round off their tour through the Isarauen in this beer garden. In the self-picking area, visitors can choose between classic and Bavarian-Mediterranean dishes, sometimes even à la minute. In a separate hut on the edge of the forest there is plug-in of the charcoal grill. The Mass Hofbräuhach is given for 8 euros, the half of Hendl costs 8.20 euros. The mediterranean antipasti plate is available for 10.50 euros. The only drawback: the traffic on the adjoining Föhringer Ring disturbed every now and then.
